Privacy policy

Who we are

We’re Rely Scrubs and Healthcare Supplies, based in Massachusetts. This policy covers this website and the orders you place on it. If you have a question about it, email us at hello@relyscrubs.com.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email address, shipping address, what you bought and what you paid. If you pay on our checkout page (by card, wallet or pay later), we also keep your phone number, which checkout asks for, and your billing address when checkout collects one. If you pay with PayPal or Venmo, we get your phone number only if PayPal shares it. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal, so we never see or store your full card number.
• If you sign in: your email address, saved addresses and order history. You sign in with a 6-digit code we email you, so there’s no password to keep.
• Your email choice: whether you’ve chosen to get news and offers from us, and when and where you chose.
• If you write a review: your star rating, how it fits, what you write, any photos you add, and the colour and sizes you bought.
• If you email us: whatever you include in your message.
• To keep the shop secure: your IP address and browser type when you sign in, ask for a sign-in code or get a welcome code, so we can keep your account safe and stop abuse. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived logs of requests to the site.

How we use it

• To take payment, pack and ship your order, and email you about it.
• To answer your questions and handle returns.
• To work out sales tax and keep the records the law requires.
• To spot and prevent fraud.
• To send you news and offers, only if you’ve asked for them.
• To show your review on our site, if you write one.

Who helps us

We use a few services to run the shop. Each gets only what it needs to do its job:

• Stripe: card payments, and sales tax for every order, PayPal orders included. It also runs any wallets or pay-later options shown at checkout, such as Link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna or Afterpay.
• PayPal: payments made with PayPal, Venmo or Pay Later.
• Resend: sends our emails. If you’ve asked for news and offers, it also keeps your email address and first name on our mailing list, and keeps them, marked unsubscribed, if you later opt out.
• Supabase: hosts our database, including review photos.
• EasyPost, and the carrier delivering your parcel (such as USPS, UPS or FedEx): your name and shipping address, to make the label and deliver your order.
• Vercel: hosts this website.
• Our email provider: email you send us passes through ImprovMX, which forwards it to our Google Gmail inbox.
• Shopify: if you order from us through Shopify, it handles that order and passes us the details we need to ship it.
• Telegram: our team gets a message about each new order with the order number, items, total, your first name, city and state, and shipping method.

We also share product information (never yours) with Google and Meta, so our sets can appear in their shopping listings.

We don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Cookies

We use a few cookies and a little browser storage to make the shop work:

• A cart cookie, so your cart is still there when you come back (it lasts 60 days).
• A sign-in cookie, so you stay signed in (up to 90 days, or until 30 days without a visit).
• A cookie that tells the site you’re signed in, so it doesn’t offer you the sign-up box.
• A cookie and a note in your browser’s storage that remember you closed the sign-up box (for 30 days), plus one for the current visit only.
• A cookie that remembers the language you chose for the site (it lasts 1 year).
• Our payment providers set their own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud. PayPal’s payment buttons load on the cart page whenever checkout is open, before you click anything, and PayPal may set its own cookies there. Stripe sets its own on its checkout page. Their privacy policies apply.

We don’t use analytics or advertising cookies. Our site doesn’t track you across other sites, so it doesn’t respond differently to Do Not Track signals.

Emails from us

Order confirmations and shipping updates are always sent. News and offers are sent only if you’ve asked for them. You can unsubscribe any time by emailing us, with the unsubscribe link in our news emails, or in your account under Email preferences.

Reviews

When we publish your review, it shows your first name and last initial (for example, “Maria L.”), your first name alone if that’s all you gave, or “Verified buyer” if you gave no name, along with how it fits (if you said), and the colour and sizes you bought. Photos you add stay private until your review is published.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and tax. If you ask us to delete your details, we remove your name, email address, phone number and street address, and keep only the city, state and ZIP code on past orders, for tax. We can’t do this while an order is still open or inside its return window. Stripe, PayPal, EasyPost and Resend keep their own records of payments, shipments and emails under their own policies.

Your choices

You can update your saved addresses and email choices yourself in your account. To get a copy of your information, correct it or delete it, email us at hello@relyscrubs.com from the address you shop with, and our team will take care of it.

Children

Our shop isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date below.
